Plan to sight it in again but at 25-30 yards to use for shooting starlings and prairie dogs. After four shots I'm now hitting a circle the size of a quarter consistently with Crosman hollow point pellets at 10-15 yards. I put an old Bushnell 4-12x40 with parallelax scope on this rifle and sighted it in at 10 yards in our basement. First thing I did was remove the scope to put on a CO2 rifle I have. Scope is not anything I would ever consider using on any of my guns ever again.īought this 0.22 pellet rifle refurbished. I promise this article is 100% the truth and please go out and buy a benjamin, I like 'em and I would hope that you would too. I have killed so much with the air rifle I do in fact feel confortable about shooting it everyday that I pick it up off the gun rack. Even something as simple as that will be good for hunting. It is a $50.00 Tasco scope from wal-mart and has a magnification of 3-9x50mm. For $10.00 I can get 500 rounds of domed or hollowpoint pellets.Ībout the scope I have put on the air rifle, the scope is a regular hunting scope for centerfire rifles and has been working great for me since I have had it. They cost about $10.00 in my town but will vary everywhere you go. I prefer using the cheap and accurate crosman domed and crosman hollowpoint pellets from a local wal-mart. Yes I did say 7000 pellets, I do a ton of shooting just to stay up to date with my guns. I have also shot more than 7000 pellets from the air rifle since I have had it. Every person needs to get to know their guns before taking risky shots or having accidents. I have shot dove out to 134 yards with this air rifle and centered the breast.

177 before so I personally would not know how well they would perform.Īs far as the rifle goes, it is a good caliber with good accuracy and feel. After having sent two scopes in to the company, with the exact same problems, I would recomend not buying a centerpoint scope for any rifles. 22 caliber and the scope's reticle will jump around after about 15 shots. The centerpoint scopes never work on the gun. I have had my benjamin genisis for over a year now and have had only one problem with it.
